Celenia Software named winner of the SSA Impacts Award 2010

Atlanta, GA – December 17, 2010 Celenia Software was recently announced as the winner of the SSA Impact Award 2010 for Software System Integrators & Consulting Companies on Friday, December 3rd . This distinction was presented by SSA (The Southeastern Software Association), TAG (Technology Association of Georgia) and TechAmerica at their annual ‘Spirit of Endeavor Awards Show’, considered to be the premiere technology awards program in the Southeastern, U.S.

The Awards Show was held at the Georgia Tech Hotel, Atlanta, and Karina Nielsen, President of Celenia Software, was presented the honor at the Association’s prestigious ceremony, attended by a who’s who of the region’s leading and emerging software and technology companies.

This award truly marks an ongoing strengthening of Celenia’s position in the North American market. “Having established our US headquarters here in Atlanta, GA, just 3 years ago, we are extremely proud to take this prize among so many other strong and well-known software and technology companies from the region”, Karina Nielsen, President at Celenia Software.

The Impact Award nominees were evaluated on an actual project completed within the last year. Here, criteria such as Project and Technology Complexity, the Creativity of the solution, and the Overall Business Impact of the solution would determine the winner.

Celenia Software was nominated for an extraordinary project completed on behalf of McLane Advanced Technologies, together with Microsoft Corporation. During 2010, Celenia Software developed a complete Warehouse Management System (WMS) embedded in Microsoft Dynamics AX® – a highly complex project both from a technological as well as a resource perspective, comprising more than 14,000 man hours into just 9 months of development work to complete the Warehouse Management product.
