Razor-sharp focus on innovation
The business focus of TRIMIT is to develop state of the art functionality within their international solution based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV, targeting four verticals including the fashion and furniture industries. But to adjust their solution to local markets would drain their own development organization’s focus on innovation. That’s why they handed over localizations to Celenia.
We don’t have time for that
TRIMIT is a very successful company offering a solution for fashion and furniture industries through Value Added Resellers in a growing number of countries. Each country needs a localized version for Microsoft Dynamics NAV. “If we should develop localized versions ourselves, it would require that we put innovation on hold for half a year. Since we don’t have time for that, we decided to hand this over to Celenia – and with great success,” explains Jesper Bech, Head of Product Management at TRIMIT.
We trust what they do
TRIMIT started up with a pilot test for a previous version – and since then, a large number of localizations have been processed. “When you decide to hand over tasks externally you can fear that they will go “underground” and when you get it back two months after, it is completely wrong. That is not the case with Celenia. The communication is excellent and they instantly take care of any potential issues to ensure high quality in their work,” Jesper Bech describes.

It pays to deal with Celenia
From a financial perspective, it has also been very attractive to engage Celenia. “First of all, this kind of work is very seasonal so to hire in people locally to do this job alone is unrealistic. If you compare prices by the hour, Celenia is much cheaper than to hire in yourself, and with less hassle – I would say – because with Celenia there is no learning curve,” Jesper Bech added.
A strategic partnership
Celenia continuously performs localizations for TRIMIT. “If you ask me if we would do it again, the answer is clearly YES. Celenia is a strategic partner because they allow us to have a razor-sharp focus on innovation, and since we keep expanding to new markets, Celenia will be handed more localizations in the future,” Jesper Bech concluded.
